This website was created with agreement of Stefan's parents, as they do not speak English or any other language. Translations at some point might be slightly different to the original which will have no effect on the general content. The authors and supporters of this website are not responsible for the original data, e.g. the history or official documents. Furthermore, the bank account shown on the homepage was opened by Stefan's parents. Please feel free to donate money directly to them, because it goes directly to them. This process minimizes a lot of bureaucracy. That means that this is not a charity donation and the money being received is 100% for Stefan!

Why is there no other funding?

According to EU law, if treatment  is not available in one's own country, it can be received in another EU country with the help of the EU form E 112 (S2) (without transport and general charges).

According to Stefan's parents the insurance in Romania does not have a problem with the EU form, but the doctors do not sign the form.

That can take a very long time, which Stefan does not have. We don't want him to be gone from this world because of pure red tape...

More information for E112 (S2) form: (http://ec.europa.eu/social/main.jsp?catId=569&langId=en)
